We return to beautiful Glen Ellyn and the challenging course of the Ray Whalen Builders Tour of Lake Ellyn.
Originally conceived in the late 1970s by local cycling legend John Vande Velde, the race was resurrected in 2015 and has multiple unique course features, including a round-about, multiple power climbs and a tight final turn.
Glen Ellyn will be the first stop on this year’s Triple Crown! Glen Ellyn, Winfield, and Lombard races will be run as an omnium, with collective points toward cash prizes and the coveted winner’s jersey!
